Due to Covid 19, it is recommended that a face covering be worn inside the Church and social distancing protocols be adhered to.

Added to this, all recommendations to prevent the spread of Covid 19, such as frequent hand washing and the use of hand sanitizers, should be practiced at all times. There is also now only one entrance into the Church (from the courtyard and Friary Car park) and one exit from the Church (onto High Street).

Due to the limited number of persons allowed inside the Church at one time, addition seating has been provided in the Friary Courtyard, as well as a loud speaker to broadcast the proceedings.

On account of all the new protocols in place, volunteers to help with the cleaning of the Church after each Mass and ushering, are greatly needed. If you are able to help with this, please speak with one of the members of the Friary Community or the Sacristan.

Extraordinary ministers of the Holy Eucharist will resume their duties from Monday 7th September, 2020.

Adoration of the blessed Sacrament now takes place in the large Church daily (to ensure social distancing), from 3pm to 6pm. All are most welcome to spend time with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration.

Change of confession times: WED, FRI and SAT from 11am to 12noon. The confessional room is now fitted with a prospect screen to ensure social distancing. All are most welcome to come to God’s ocean of mercy in the Sacrament of Confession.
